SCHOLARSHIP RULES
1. Applicant shall be a member of the Kentucky Walking Horse Association in 2025.
2. Applicant shall have been a full time student (12 hours) in an accredited institution of higher learning during 2025 fall semester and shall have kept, at a minimum, a 3.0 grade average.
3. Applicant shall submit the following documents, along with complete application to  KWHA, Scholarship Committee, 440 Frogtown Road, Union, KY  41091 on or before December 29, 2025:
a. Application
b. Official 2025 fall transcript  indicating hours and grade average
c. Narrative that shall address the applicants past and present involvement in the walking horse industry, as well as within the Kentucky Walking Horse Association.
4. This scholarship is $500.  If applicant is awarded this scholarship, they must attend and participate in the annual KWHA banquet held in January, 2026 to receive the scholarship funds.
